The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to the execution of similar civil works, specifically hydraulic structures. The experience of having successfully completed similar nature civil works during the last 7 years is required. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost, - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The experience will be updated by giving 8% simple weightage per year to bring them to the current financial year price level. Additionally, the bidder should have completed works in the last five years, and the value of these works is used to calculate the Bid Capacity using the formula (2AN-B), where A is the Maximum Value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last Five years. The bidder should also have a Work Experience certificate issued by an Executive Engineer or above, and be registered as a contractor of a specified category in the same name and style as applied for the bid.
