The required prior work experience for the bidder includes a minimum construction experience in key activities such as earthwork in excavation/embankment, lining, and supplying and installation of pipes. The bidder must have completed Operation & Maintenance of similar work of pressure irrigation system for a minimum of one year in the last 7 years.
The quantities of similar works completed are as follows:
- Earthwork in excavation/embankment: 5.09 lakh cum under a single completed work, 3.054 lakh cum under each of two completed works, 2.04 lakh cum under each of three completed works, and 1.53 lakh cum for other cases.
- Lining: 2.16 lakh SQM under a single completed work, 1.30 lakh sqm under each of two completed works, 0.864 lakh sqm under each of three completed works, and 0.65 lakh sqm for other cases.
- Supplying and installation of pipes: 2.77 lakh Meter under a single completed work, 1.622 lakh Meter under each of two completed works, 1.11 lakh Meter under each of three completed works, and 0.831 lakh Meter for other cases.
No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned. However, for evaluation purposes, works that have been substantially completed (more than 75% of allotted work within the stipulated time period) shall be considered as completed. In case of delay, the eligible cost and quantities of such work(s) shall be considered as 75% value of the work(s) if the delay is attributed to the contractor.
