Available bid capacity = (A * N * 2 - B) Where A = Maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed In any one year during the last five years N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. B = Value of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the Project/Works for which these bids are being invited. The bidder should submit an undertaking that his available bid capacity is more than the total value of his financial bid, for works above Rs. 1.00 Crore.

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes satisfactorily completing similar works within the last five years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows:
- One similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost
- Two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost
- Three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost. Additionally, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three years.
