The bidder should have prior work experience of a similar nature. The requirements for this experience include: - A completed single work of similar nature as a sole firm with a minimum value of 40% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. - Alternatively, the bidder should have credentials of 2 completed works of similar nature as a sole firm, each with a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount put to tender during 5 years prior to the date of issue of the tender notice. - Another option is that the bidder should have credentials of a single running work of similar nature which has been completed to the extent of 80% or more, with a value of not less than the desired value mentioned above. Additionally, the bidder should have available liquid assets and/or credit facilities of at least 10% of the estimated cost put to tender. In case of running works, the bidder should submit a certificate of satisfactory running work from the concerned Executive Engineer, or equivalent competent authority, mentioning the extent of executed work, and stating that the work is in progress satisfactorily and no penal action has been initiated against the executing agency.
