The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 7 years. The specific requirements are as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 400 crore, whichever is less; - OR two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 500 crore, whichever is less; - OR one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 800 crore, whichever is less. Alternatively, the required prior work experience for the bidder also includes: a. One similar work costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 400 crore, whichever is less; b. Two similar works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 500 crore, whichever is less; c. One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender or Rs. 800 crore, whichever is less. For projects with an estimated cost above Rs. 1000 crore, the minimum eligibility criteria consider the estimated cost as Rs. 1000 crore. The value of executed works shall be considered equivalent to the amount received as per the TDS Certificates, and shall include the value of any materials or services supplied by the client/employer free of cost or at a discounted price to the contractor. The percentages mentioned are 40%, 50%, and 80% of the estimated cost put to tender, with corresponding values of Rs. 400 crore, Rs. 500 crore, and Rs. 800 crore, respectively.
