N= Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited (period up to 6 months to be taken as half-year and more than 6 months as one year). M= 1.5 (One and half) B= Value, at the current price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited.

The bidder must have experience of completing similar work within the last 7 years. The similar work can be either of the following: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost.
- Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost.
- One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost.
The similar work includes Flood Management/Flood Protection Works or Civil works which include RCC Work. The value of executed work is adjusted to the current costing level by adding a simple rate of interest of 7% per annum. Completed work refers to work that is either fully completed or completed to a minimum of 90% of the award amount.
