The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or commissioned similar "water related projects" during the last 7 years, which include components such as piping work, water conveyance system, water storage/retaining structures, and pumping systems. The experience criteria are as follows: - Three similar completed/commissioned works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed/commissioned works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar completed/commissioned work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. A work is considered completed if more than 90% of the awarded amount has been executed. The bidder must submit a certificate of completion or commissioning of the project/work, issued by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer, along with a copy of the award letter to corroborate the experience certificate. Additionally, for sanitary and water supply works, when the tendered cost of work to be executed is more than Rs. 25,000, the contractor shall employ a qualified Junior Engineer with an experience of not less than five years, out of which at least one year should be in sanitary engineering or water supply works.
