We Have A Department In Tromsø And Research Stations In Matre, Austevoll And Flødevigen. In Addition We Have A Separate Shipping Company That Is Responsible For The Research Vessels. These Ships Are Our Most Important Tools For Collecting Marine Data. The Institute Also Has Several Laboratories That Analyse Samples From The Monitoring And Research Programmes. Research And Advice From Hi Shall Contribute To Laying The Basis For Society Also Being Able To Use The Large Values In The Sea In A Sustainable Way. We Are A Neutral Knowledge Provider Who Will Make The Results Of Our Research Known Both Nationally And Internationally. Our Work Shall Be Built On Integrity, Creator Enjoyment, Interaction And Respect.hi Is Subject To The Ministry Of Industry And Fisheries, And Around 40 Percent Of Our Activities Are Financed By The Ministry.
