The bidder must have experience of having successfully completed at least one similar work costing more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender. This similar work should be for Government or Semi-Government clients and should have been completed within the last 5 to 7 years. The certificate of experience from the Agreement Authority of the completed similar work should contain details such as name of work, agreement number, estimated cost, contract price, date of start and date of completion. The value of similar works completed is considered as the full value of the completed work, and the percentage is more than 40% of the estimated cost of the work put to tender. The annual financial turnover and cost of completed works of previous years are given a weightage of 5% per year to bring them at the current price level. Additionally, the bidder should possess experience and past performance of works of similar nature in the last five years, and should submit details of experience and past performance of works of similar nature with certified copies of certificates from the Clients. The bidder should also provide details of ongoing works. The performance of each of the parties to the Joint Venture on works of a similar nature within the past five years, current works on hand, and other contractual commitments shall also be submitted along with the Bid.
