The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed works during the last 7 years, with specific requirements for similar completed works. The similar completed works should be of a similar nature to the work being tendered. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender
- Two similar completed works costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender
- One similar completed work of aggregate cost not less than 80% of the estimated project cost put to tender Additionally, for BM/BC work above Rs. 1.0 crore, a notarized affidavit on Rs. 100/- stamp paper for ownership of Hot mix plant, along with a purchase bill, is required. A sensor paver is also mandatory for BM/BC work, except for road patch works. The experience certificate should be from the Engineer-in-Charge of the work, not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent rank officers, in Govt./Semi Govt./PSU organizations, and should include details such as the name of the work, total value of the work, date of start and completion, and whether any compensation was levied for delay.
