The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience of having successfully completed works during the last 7 years with Govt./Semi Govt./PSU only. The experience can be in the form of three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender, two similar completed works costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender, or one similar completed work of aggregate cost not less than 80% of the estimated project cost put to tender. For specific types of work, only experience of similar works shall be considered. The values and percentages of similar works completed are 40% of the estimated cost put to tender for three similar completed works, 60% of the estimated cost put to tender for two similar completed works, and 80% of the estimated project cost put to tender for one similar completed work. Additionally, for works more than 1.5 times the bid value, the experience and values are: 5% of the bid value for works up to Rs.15.00 Lacs, 10% of the bid value for works between Rs.15.00 Lacs and Rs.100.00 Lacs, 12% of the bid value for works between Rs.100.00 Lacs and Rs.500.00 Lacs, and 2 times the bid value and 12% of the bid value for works of Rs.500.00 Lacs and above. The amount of work done against the agreement is to be mentioned clearly in the certificate, if any tenderer submits the experience certificate of ongoing work.
