Gateshead Council Is In The Process Of Looking To Renew The Solution For The Operation Of Various Leisure Concessions Within Saltwell Park. Current Arrangements Within The Park Include A Land Train And Inflatables. It Is Anticipated That The New Contract May Include Activities Such As: • Boats For The Boating Lake (which Had Been Operational Until 2 Years Ago) • A Land Train • Inflatables • Mini Golf As Part Of This Process The Council Is Conducting A Market Engagement Exercise To Establish A Level Of Interest In This Opportunity And To Gather Information To Improve Our Understanding Of The Market. As Part Of The Market Engagement Process, The Council Will Issue A Questionnaire And Will Invite Suppliers To Attend A 1-2-1 To Discuss Their Response Further. If A 1-2-1 Is Booked, A Corresponding Questionnaire Must Be Returned By The Deadline (12pm On 29th February 2024), To Guarantee The Booked Slot. Slots Will Be Provided On A First Come Basis. Please Note That This Requirement Will Not Allow For The Provision Of Any Food, Which Is Already Covered By Existing Contractual Arrangements.
