Title: galway County Council - Eoi For The Provision Of Cold Weather Response Services 2024/2025 description: galway County Council Is Seeking Expressions Of Interest From Non-governmental Organisations (ngos) Who Are Interested In Providing A Cold Weather Response Service (emergency Short-term Accommodation) In County Galway, From October 2024 To March 2025, At A Property Provided By Galway County Council. The Emergency Accommodation Property Is Located Within 20km Of Galway City. Short-term Emergency Accommodation Is Necessary For People Who Have A History Of Rough Sleeping And Is Particularly In Demand During The Winter Period. It Is The Intention To Have Sufficient Emergency Accommodation Beds Available To Provide A Bed In A Safe, Secure Place For Persons Who Are Homeless And At Risk Of Having To Rough Sleep. The Cold Weather Response Is Targeted At Individuals Who Require Short-term Emergency Accommodation And Require Additional Supports To Enable Them To Successfully Access Same.
