In View Of The Two (2) Failed Biddings, The Forest Products Research And Development Institute (fprdi) Invites Philgeps Registered, Technically And Legally, And Financially Capable Suppliers To Participate In The Negotiated Procurement For The Supply, Delivery, Installation And Commissioning Of Fire Testing Equipment With Accessories, In Accordance With The Section 53.1 Of The Revised Implementing Rules And Regulations (irr) Of The Republic Act No. 9184. 2. The Fprdi Through The Cy 2024 General Appropriations Act (gaa), Intends To Apply The Sum Of Sixty-nine Million Five Hundred Pesos Only (php 69,500,000.00) Being The Approved Budget For The Contract (abc) (inclusive Of Vat) To Payment Under The Contract For The Abovementioned Procurement. 3. The Fprdi Will Engage In Negotiations With A Sufficient Number Of Suppliers To Ensure Effective Competition. The Selection Of The Successful Offer Shall Be Based On The Best And Final Offer That Will Be Submitted On The Set Deadline By The Bac And Which Would Meet The Minimum Technical Specifications Required. 4. Interested Bidders May Obtain Further Information From The Fprdi-bids And Awards Committee (bac) Secretariat And Inspect The Bidding Documents At The Address Given Below During Office Hours From 9:00 Am To 4:00 Pm. 5. A Complete Set Of Documents May Be Acquired By Interested Bidders Starting August 21, 2024 From The Given Address And Website Below, Upon Payment Of The Applicable Fee Of Fifty Thousand Pesos Only (php 50,000.00).
