A new waterproof roof-supporting structure will be built on top of the Siporex slabs supporting the upper floor, resting on sawn timber risers. The new roof will be constructed as a gable roof. A lock-joint metal sheet roof will be installed as the waterproof roof. The old roof drains that are no longer in use will be plugged and filled with fire-retardant urethane. The necessary roof safety products will be installed on the roof. Gutters, downpipes and ladders will be installed on the new roof.
