The Reservoirs Are Federally Owned By The United States Bureau Of Reclamation (bor) With Areas That Access To The Facilities Managed By Larimer County. The Project Will Improve Vehicular And Pedestrian Access To The Reservoirs While Simultaneously Improving Safety At These Locations Which Serve Over One Million Visitors Annually. scope Of The Work: The Scope Includes Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, Minor Widening, And New Construction Of Parking Lots And Access Roads. Carter Lake Reservoir Improvements Include Rehabilitation At The North Pines And Eagle Campground Parking Lots, Reconstruction Of The Big Thomson Parking Lot, New Construction At The Quarry Overflow Parking Lot, And Widening Of County Road 31 For An Auxiliary Travel Lane Between The Big Thomson And Quarry Overflow Parking Lots.
