1.0 Purpose/scope this Presolicitation Notice Is To Seek Additional Sources And Notify Industry Of The Government’s Intent To Negotiate With Only One Source For The Procurement Of A Quantity Of Four P-8a Bootstrap Equipment, P/n C71020-91 Upgrade-105, For The Naval Air Systems Command (navair) Maritime Patrol And Reconnaissance Aircraft (mpra) Program 290 (pma-290) Royal Australian Air Force (raaf) Located At Patuxent River, Maryland. The Bootstrap Equipment Is Considered To Be A Commercial Item. The Intended Source Is Industrial Automation Inc. The Government Is Pursuing A Non-competitive Action Under The Authority Of Far 13.106-1(b)(1). as Part Of Its Market Research, The General Services Administration (gsa), On Behalf Of Its Customer, Is Issuing This Sources Sought And Notice Of Intent To Determine If There Exists An Adequate Number Of Interested And Qualified Contractors Capable Of Performing The Requirement As Described. The Government May Use The Responses To This Sources Sought For Information And Planning Purposes. The Technical Specifications Describe Only The Currently Contemplated Possible Specifications And May Vary From The Actual Specifications Identified In Final Product Descriptions Included In Any Request For Quote (rfq). this Sources Sought Is Only For The Purpose Of Identifying Potential Sources As Part Of Gsa’s Market Research.
