The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the requirements are similar, with the percentages (30%, 40%, 60%) applied to the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in last 5 years, unless the work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior experience is required.
