The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully or substantially completing similar works within the last 7 years. The specific requirements are: - Three similar works, each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender. - Two similar works, each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender. - One similar work, each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have completed: - Three similar works, each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - Two similar works, each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - One similar work, each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. In the case of subcontracting, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. For joint venture (JV) firms, the details of similar single work are required for all members of the JV firm for a minimum of 10% of the advertised value of the tender (for works without composite components), or a minimum of 10% of the cost of any component of work (for works with composite components). The values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted - 10% of the advertised value of the tender (for works without composite components) - 10% of the cost of any component of work (for works with composite components) - Rs 500 crores as the average annual turnover for public listed companies - 7 years as the time frame for considering completed works - Rs 50 lakh as the threshold for subletting work, below which no previous work experience is required.
