The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing any of the following during the last 7 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, no previous work experience is required for subcontracting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The definition of similar work is any Civil work consisting of RCC work. The tenderer's credentials are considered based on their share in the previous entity and their share in the present partnership firm, multiplied by the value of the work done in the previous entity. In terms of financial eligibility criteria, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. The minimum average annual contractual turnover is V/N or V, whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The mentioned values and percentages include: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subcontractors - Rs 50 lakh for subcontracting work that does not require previous work experience.
