The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For substantially completed work, the percentage of similar works completed is 90%. The amount considered for completion cost of work includes the gross amount and Price Variation amount (if paid). Note that for tenders having an advertised value up to Rs 50 lakh, no prior work experience is required. A work started prior to 7 years but completed in the last 7 years can be considered for fulfillment of credentials. The required prior work experience for the bidder is that the completed work shall be considered for fulfillment of credentials if it was completed in the last 7 years. In case of completed work, the value of the final bill (gross amount) including the Price Variation amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. If the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the Price Variation amount (if paid), shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the Price Variation amount (if paid), as mentioned in the certificate, shall be considered as the cost of substantially completed work. In case a work is considered similar in nature for fulfillment of technical credentials, the overall cost, including the Price Variation amount (if paid), of that completed work or substantially completed work, shall be considered, and no separate evaluation for each component of that work shall be made to decide eligibility.
