East Central Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed specific categories of work within the last 07 years. These categories are: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, the required prior work experience is: - At least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. Note that for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder should provide a list of completed works, including description, organization, approximate value of contract, date of award, and date of completion. Additionally, the bidder must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated based on the advertised value of the tender and the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The average annual contractual turnover is calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. In case of more than one L-1 bidders, the tender may be awarded to the tenderer having higher Bid capacity or the tenderer having done more value of similar nature work in the last three previous years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender.
