East Central Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 7 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The definition of similar work involves any Civil Engineering work with minimum 30% of tender quantity for Track Linking in a single work, or 40% of tender quantity of Track Linking work in two completed contracts, along with the supply of track ballast/aggregate/boulders for a minimum quantity of 30% of the tender quantity for ballast. Additionally, the tenderer having higher Bid Capacity may be awarded the tender in case of multiple L-1 bidders. If Bid Capacity is the same, the tenderer with more value of similar work done in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of the tender may be selected. The tenderer must also have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated based on the advertised value of the tender and the number of years prescribed for completion of work.
