the Work Is In Franklin County, Pennsylvania At The Letterkenny Army Depot Within The Letterkenny Munitions Center. The Project Includes The Abatement And Demolition Of Building 1456 And Building 2365.
also Included Is The New Construction Of A 57,955 Sf Missile Munitions Distribution Facility (mmdf) Warehouse (including A 4,614 Sf Canopy On The Inbound Dock Side) And Associated Administrative Support Functions. Adjacent To The Mmdf Is A 568 Sf Vehicle Storage Building (vsb) That Is Used To Charge And Store Forklifts That Support The Mission. Associated Site Development Including But Not Limited To Earthwork, Best Management Practices (bmps), Fencing, Roadways And Hardstand Areas That Support The Loading And Unloading Of Munitions Are Also Included.
the Project Further Includes New Construction Of A Rail Classification Yard (rcy) Consisting Of Approximately 8,000 Lf Of Rail Siding And A Suspect Track For Monitoring And Inspection Of Compromised Rail Cars.

Description: Restricted invitation to tender with public participation competition Vob/a Municipality of Waldsolms, new construction of a drinking water treatment plant in the Ot Kraftsolms, Lot 1 The municipality of Waldsolms intends to build a new drinking water treatment plant and connect it to the local network at the Kraftsolms location. General description: The new construction of the water treatment plant is planned with a steel hall (12.60x7.60m) and a settling shaft. The technology of the treatment plant will be installed in a steel hall. The hall is founded on a reinforced concrete floor slab with rising 2.50m high reinforced concrete walls. The hall is planned as a steel structure and a pent roof (total height: 5-7m) made of insulated sandwich elements. The pipes in the new steel hall will be made of stainless steel (approx. 70 m, up to DN 200). A new flushing water pipe (DN 200, approx. 8 m) leads from the new water treatment plant to the settling shaft. The settling shaft made of prefabricated reinforced concrete parts for flushing water pretreatment has a usable volume of approx. 90 m³. The shaft has external dimensions of (lxwxh) 9.75 MX 4.00 MX 3.40 m. In addition, approx. 55 m of rainwater pipe from the downpipes and from the drain pipe of the settling shaft (DN 100 - 200) are planned. Also, approx. 85 m of raw water pipe (DA 110) from the well to the treatment plant and approx. 900 m of clean water pipe (DA 110) from the treatment plant to the connection point in Kraftsolms will be manufactured. A natural drainage ditch to the nearby Minetbach with a length of around 40 m is also to be created. The civil engineering work includes the construction of the outdoor area. This includes around 120 m² of paved area and around 110 m of fencing with a gate and door system. The work will be divided into two lots. Lot 1: earthworks, reinforced concrete work, pipeline, outdoor facilities, steel hall, drainage channel (lot 2: mechanical engineering is not the subject of this competition)
