The Service Required Includes The Supply, Installation, Removal, Reconditioning, Storage And Disposal Of Standard, Specialist And Bespoke Slings Which Are Allocated To Service Users Who Reside At The Following, In County Durham:- • Domestic Properties (including University Accommodation) • Independent Supported Housing Establishments • Extra Care Housing • Residential Care Homes For Adults And Children Whilst It Is Not Essential That Providers Are Able To Conduct Loler Assessments The Ability To Do So Would Be Desirable. The Provider Will Need The Necessary Equipment And Skills To Communicate Electronically With The Council, Including Uploading And Downloading Of Information Securely From The Council’s Lift Database. These Contract Arrangements Will Enable Durham County Council To Fulfil Its Duty Of Care To Ensure That All Assessed Needs For Standard And Specialist Slings Are Met Throughout The Period Of The Contractual Arrangement. The Assessed Needs Will Be Identified By The Occupational Therapists (ot) For Children And Adult Services, The Learning Disability Ots Employed By Tees Esk & Wear Valley Nhs Trust And Community Ot Rehab (county Durham And Darlington Foundation Trust).
