The District Of Sicamous Is Providing An Opportunity For Local Photographers To Submit Photographs That, If Selected, Will Be Featured In The New Sek’emaws (sicamous) Health Centre Located At 200 Main Street. We Invite Photographers To Submit Photographs Capturing Sicamous's Spirit, Culture And History. We Encourage Pieces That Reflect The Community’s Unique Identity, Including Its Connection To Nature, Local Traditions And Stories That Resonate With Residents And Visitors Alike. This Is An Opportunity To Celebrate Our Heritage And Vibrant Culture. The Sek’emaws (sicamous) Health Centre Is Currently Under Construction And Is Expected To Open In The Spring Of 2025. The Building Was Designed By Douglas Cardinal, A Renowned Indigenous Architect, And Is Being Constructed By Scott Builders Inc. Be A Part Of This Legacy Project And Leave Your Mark On A Space That Will Inspire Health, Healing And Community For Years To Come
