The total Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) can be calculated by adding the respective amounts for each district. For instance, if a bidder wishes to apply for 4 districts, with one district from each group (A, B, C, and D), the total EMD would be: Rs. 10 Lac (Group A) + Rs. 20 Lac (Group B) + Rs. 30 Lac (Group C) + Rs. 40 Lac (Group D) = Rs. 1 Crore Another example is: Rs. 30 Lac (1 district of Group A) + Rs. 80 Lac (2 districts of Group B) + Rs. 100 Lac (2 districts of Group C) + Rs. 60 Lac (1 district of Group D) = Rs. 2.70 Crore The bidder should also have achieved a minimum average turnover of 10% of the contract value in the financial years 2022-23 and 2023-24 with some government department(s) for supply and transportation of food grains. For example, if the bidder is bidding for 1 district of group D with a value of Rs. 40 crore, they should have an average turnover of Rs. 10.30 crore (10% of Rs. 103 crore) in the financial years 2022-23 and 2023-24.
