Presently, Dpr Seeks To Develop Lower-cost Lodging Facilities At Silver Strand State Beach Under a Project Called Lower-cost Coastal Overnight Accommodations (the ¿project¿). As Currently envisioned, There Would Be 16 Cottages And 20 Travel Trailers Managed By A Concessionaire Who would Pay Rent To The State. 16 Tent Campsites Are Also Envisioned However It Remains To Be determined Whether These Would Be Operated By The Concessionaire Or State Parks. as Part Of An Existing Memorandum Of Understanding Between State Parks And The California Coastal Commission, A Project-specific Agreement Needs To Be Developed Between These parties. Such An Agreement Would Have Four Phases, As Follows: a. Project Site Selection b. Business Development Plan And Project Estimates c. Design Development, Permitting, And Construction d. Operations And Maintenance. to Meet The Demands Of The Lower-cost Coastal Overnight Accommodations Project, Dpr Is seeking Proposals From Qualified Contractors Or Firms To Provide Consulting Services Including assisting In The Preparation Of A Business Development Plan And Negotiating With The California Coastal Commission In Support Of The Lower-cost Coastal Overnight Accommodations Project At Silver Strand State Beach. the Service Shall Support Project Development Between Dpr And The California Coastal commission, The Overall Goal Of The Prospective Business Development Plan To Describe Costs related To Development, Operation, And Maintenance Of The Project, And Projected Revenues From Project Operations.
