Description I. Background The Philippine Tourism Awards (pta) Is The Highest And Most Prestigious Citation In Philippine Tourism. The Pta Is A Recognition Program Of The Philippine Department Of Tourism That Seeks To Honor Industry Players And Lgus Who Have Demonstrated Excellence In Developing And Promoting The Country’s Tourism Sector. The Pta Is Designed To Achieve The Following Objectives: • Instill The Culture Of Filipino Hospitality And Excellence In The Tourism Sector; • Foster An Innovative And Competitive Consciousness In The Country By Recognizing Individuals, Corporate Entities, And Lgus, Who Have Contributed Immeasurably To The Growth Of The Industry; • Recognize Individuals And Entities In The Tourism Industry Whose Creativity, Expertise, Professionalism, And Service Have Been Of The Highest Standards And Have Highlighted The Filipino Identity. For The Years 2023 To 2025, The Department Of Tourism Has Also Strengthened The Capacity Of Tourism Stakeholders And Partners To Provide Quality Tourism Services And Standards Of Treating Tourists In All Destinations Through The *facilitation Of* Training Under The Filipino Brand Of Service Excellence Program. The Filipino Brand Of Service Excellence (fbse) Is One Of The Main Advocacy Programs Of The Department Of Tourism And Aims To Promote The Best And Positive About Filipino Hospitality. The Fbse Is Envisioned To Enhance And Uplift The Quality Of Tourism Services In The Country, Making Service Excellence Become A Holistic National Identity. This One-day (8-hour) Program Is Designed To Develop And Sustain A Tourism Workforce Capable Of Providing Excellent-quality Services Of Globally Competitive Standards To Tourists And Visitors Travelling To And Around The Country While Establishing And Maintaining Good Customer Relationships. In Davao Region, Almost 13,000 Tourism Workers And Stakeholders Were Trained For This Program. Thus, It Is Important To Recognize The Efforts And Contributions Of Partners, Trainers And Facilitators For The Conduct Of Series Of Filipino Brand Of Service Excellence Seminar-workshop Activities This Year. Ii. Purpose The Professional Event Organizer Shall Render The Following Professional Services: A. Manpower Services To Include (1) Logistics And Other Supplies And Materials - Event Coordinator; Event Staff; Emcee/host; Program Director; Pre Event/event Proper/ Post Event Coordination; Certificates; Certificate Holders, Performers (mood Setting) - Pre, Actual, And Post Event Coordination With Dot Xi And The Following Event Partners; B. Program Management And Event Logistics - Provision Of Professional And Experienced Host And Performer(s) For The Duration Of The Event - Prepare The Program Scenario And Script For The Event Host To Include The Spiel During The Event; - Create A Competent Event Management Team Who Shall Coordinate, Oversee The Basic Light, Sound System, Audio-visual, Technical Requirements, Choreography And Other Elements And Requirements Of The Overall Activity. C. Logistics - Event Management/overall Coordination - Submission Of The Post Event Terminal Report E. Venue, Set-up, And Meal (buffet Pm Snacks) With The Approval Of Dot Xi, For A Total Of 150 Pax Composed Of Tourism Stakeholders, Government Officials, And Other Stakeholders Iii. Minimum Requirements 1. Must Be A Dot-accredited Mice Organizer Based In Davao City; 2. Must Be Willing To Provide Services On A Send-bill Arrangement; 3. Must Have Handled Dot Events; 4. Must Be Willing To Render Services On Send-bill Arrangements; Iv. Documentary Requirements: 1. Copy Of Sec Or Dti Registration; 2. Copy Of Any Of The Following Documents: Bir, Mayors Or Business Permit Or Any Proof Of Renewal Of Permit For Fy 2025; 3. Copy Of Dot-accreditation Certificate; 4. Copy Phil-geps Registration Or Any Proof Of Its Registration; 5. Notarized Omnibus Sworn Statement; V. Post Event Terminal Report Submission Of Terminal Report Or Post Event Engagement Report Is Required Three To Five Days After The Event. Vi.
