It Is One Of Mindanao’s Largest Platform For The Diving Community, Mobilizing Industry Experts, Stakeholders And Dive Enthusiasts In One Communal Space To Foster The Collaboration Of Innovative Ideas, Sustainable Solutions, And Economic Opportunities. First Implemented In 2022, Davao Dive Expo Is A Partnership Project Of The Department Of Tourism Region Xi (davao) And Sm Lanang. It Is Aimed To Promote The Different Underwater Treasures Of Davao And Other Mindanao Regions, And Underscore The Importance Of The Dive Tourism As A Valuable Sector In The Philippines’ Tourism Industry. This Three–day Event Is A Gathering Of Dive Enthusiasts, Dive Establishments, And Various Providers To Showcase Various Dive Related Goods And Services, Exhibit Rich Underwater Treasures Of The Country, And Promote Marine Protection And Responsible Tourism. With A Theme, “dive With A Purpose,” This Year’s Davao Dive Expo 2024 Is Aimed To Highlight The Importance And Promotion Of Marine Conservation And Protection, And Sustainable Tourism, Through Talks, Exhibits And A Post-ecodive Activity. The Conduct Of This Event Intends To Solidify The Department Of Tourism’s Efforts To Support The Diving Industry Of The Country And Maintain Its Position As The Leading Dive Destination In The World, Providing Center Stage To The Diving Destinations In The South Of The Philippines. Ingress For The Exhibition Is Scheduled On July 4, 2024 And Egress Scheduled On July 8, 2024. V.event Components Dive Tourism Product Exhibition The Dot Region Iv – A (calabarzon) Will Participate In A General Pop-up Booth Allotted For Dive Operators And Enterprises In The Region. The Calabarzon Booth Will Include A General Information Counter For Dive Travel Related Inquiries And Table Counters For Meetings And Promotion Of Tour Packages And Dive Offerings For Dot Iv – A And Invited Stakeholders. Booths For Exhibitors Of Dive Tourism Products And Services Such As Dive Resorts And Dive Centers From Various Destinations From The Region, Dive Equipment Manufacturers, Underwater Photography Gear Distributors, And Marine Conservation Organizations Are Invited To Represent Diving In Calababarzon Region. Exhibitions Are Open To Dive Destinations, Both Local Government Units Or Regional Tourism Offices, As Well As To Dive Establishments, Retail Brands, Among Others. Dive Forum Presentations On Diving Destinations In Mindanao, Talks On Marine Protection And Preservation And Other Related Topics Was Conducted During The Three–day Event. Eco-dive Activity An Eco-dive Activity At Davao Gulf Divers Marine Park, A 7-hectare Marine Protected Area Along The Coast Of Kopiat Island In The Municipality Of Mabini, Davao De Oro, Is Scheduled On July 6, 2024, For Invited Divers From Across The Philippines. Activities In The Marine Park Includes Seagrass And Coral Planting. Vi.rationale Of The Project Themed “dive With A Purpose,” This Year’s Davao Dive Expo 2024 Is Aimed To Highlight The Importance And Promotion Of Marine Conservation And Protection, And Sustainable Tourism, Through Talks, Exhibits And A Post-ecodive Activity. It Will Also Provide An Avenue For Stakeholders To Connect, Network, And Generate Investments To Share Industry Knowledge As Well As Best Sustainable Practices For Dive Tourism. B.must Have Free Cancellation, Rebooking, Transferable Or Refundable Policies Due To Travel Restrictions Based On Resolutions And Pronouncements Made By The Iatf, Philippine Government Or Concerned Local Government Units. Ii.qualifications 1.the Agency Must Be A Full-service Dot – Accredited Tour Operator That Is Duly Established In The Philippines With The Required Manpower/personnel And Staff. 2.the Agency Must Have Been In Existence For At Least Two (2) Years With Experience In Travel And Tour Management. Iii.terms And Conditions 1.segment(s) Or Phase(s) Of The Project Not Implemented For Whatever Reason Shall Be Revised/modified By The Winning Bidder At No Cost On The Part Of Dot For The Purpose Of Translating Said Segment(s) Or Phase(s) For Future Implementation. 2.the Selected Full Service Winning Agency Shall Be Subject To Assessment Of The Dot As To The Success Of The Project Launched. 3.the Dot Reserves The Right To Change, Suspend, Or Discontinue Temporarily Or Permanently The Contract At Any Time Should The Dot Deemed The Agency Incapable Of The Project. Reason/s For Termination Will Be Based On The Guidelines Subject To The Termination Guidelines Issued By The Government, Procurement Policy Board (gppb).
