Description Terms Of Reference I. Project Procurement Of Ground Handling Services For The Balik Bayani Sa Turismo – Kulinarya Training On August 6-9, 2024 Ii. Background The Department Of Tourism (dot) Together With The Department Of Migrant Workers (dmw) Signed A Memorandum Of Understanding (mou) To Formalize The Partnership For The Joint Implementation Of The Balik Bayani Sa Turismo Program. The Balik Bayani Sa Turismo Program Aims To Provide The Returning Overseas Filipino Workers (ofws) And Their Immediate Family With Alternative Sources Of Livelihood By Engaging In Tourism Related Activities Or Businesses And Equip Them With Proper Information And Skills That Will Be Useful In Fulfilling Their Career In Tourism In The Philippines, And Tap Their Skills Acquired From Many Years Of Experience Overseas And Transfer It To Enhance The Skills Of The Local Tourism Workers. Based On The Ofw Information Sheet (ois) Survey Conducted From January To February 2024, The Province Of Pangasinan Has The Highest Number Of Respondents. In This Light, The Pilot Run Will Be Conducted In The Said Province On August 6-9, 2024. The Training To Be Undertaken Is Kulinarya, To Enhance The Skills In Food Preparation For Tourists And Visitors In A Hygienic And Presentable Manner. The Training Program Will Also Focus On Local Cuisine And Local Culture/heritage. Iii.
