The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a Site Engineer with at least 2 years of experience and a Quality Control Engineer with at least 2 years of experience. The bidder should have experience in similar works, with details to be provided, including the type of works, such as Roads/Bridges/Airport/Railways/Tunneling or others, and the value of the total contract. For works above Rs.10.00 Crores, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder is required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported with performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed, including the name of work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion. The bidder should also provide current contract commitments/work in progress, including the name of the contract, contract value, percentage and amount of work completed, and the stipulated date of completion. The bidder needs to provide evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities (10% of contract value), certified by the bankers, and submit an undertaking that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. The values of works can be updated to current price levels by enhancing the value of executed works at the rate given in the Bid Data Sheet (BDS). The bidder should mention the number of years of experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Sub-Contractor, including experience in their own country and other countries. The bidder should provide details of similar works completed, including the name of the project/work and reasons for not completing the work, if applicable. If the bidder proposes to use named Sub-Contractor(s) for critical components of the works, or for work contents in excess of 10 percent of the value of the whole works, the bidder should provide information about the Sub-Contractor(s).
