Project Duration: This Project Must Be Completed And Turned Over To And Accepted By The Doh Lpdatrc Within Sixty (60) Calendar Days Upon The Receipt Of The Approved Notice To Process (ntp) V. Project Site/s: Doh Las Pinas Drug Abuse Treatment And Rehabilitation Center 002 Coastal Road, Barangay Daniel Fajardo, Las Pinas City Vi. Background And Rationale: The International Organization For Standardization (iso) 9001 Is A Globally Recognized Standard For Quality Management. It Will Help The Organization Or Agency Of All Sizes And Sectors To Improve Their Performance, Meet Customer/client Expectations And Demonstrate Their Commitment To Quality. The Iso Requires How To Establish, Implement, Maintain And Continually Improve The Quality Management System (qms). Implementing Iso 9001 Means That The Organization/agency Has Put In Place Effective Process And Trained Staff To Deliver Smooth Process Of Service Time After Time. The Benefits Of Getting Iso 9001 Are: (1) Increased Customer/clients Trust And Satisfaction; (2) Sound Quality Control Processes; (3) Cost Savings And Productivity Gains; And (4) Continues Improvement. The External Iso Standard Audits Are Conducted By Auditors From Independent Certification Bodies. These Auditors Must Be Accredited, Experienced And Knowledgeable About The Relevant Iso Standards And Industry Practices. Their Independence From The Organization Being Audited Ensures Objectivity And Impartiality. The Doh-lpdatrc Through The Qms Committee Have Conducted Training/s Relative To The Iso Certification Of The Center From 2023 To Present. In Connection To This, The Lpdatrc Prepares For The Certification Audit With 2 Phases On December 3 And December 17-18, 2024. And Annual Surveillance Audit From Cy 2025-2027. Vii. Objective/s: External Audits, Also Known As Third-party Audits, Are Conducted By Independent Certification Bodies. The Primary Objectives Of External Audits Are: 1. Certification; And 2. To Assess Whether The Organization Complies With The Requirements Of The Relevant Iso Standards And Can Be Certified. Viii. Scope Of Work: The Certifying Must Comply With The Following: 1. Certification Body Is Expected To Provide The Following Services: A. Stage 1 Audit Preferably With 1st Week Of December 2024; B. Stage 2 Certification Audit Preferably On Or Before 2nd Week Of December 2024; C. Periodic Surveillance At Least Every Twelve (12) Months For Two (2) Consecutive Years From Date Of Certification To Determine Continued Implementation And Improvement Of The Established Management System; D. Audit Reports To Be Submitted Within Fifteen (15) Days After Completion Of Each Audit; E. Issuance Of International Accredited Iso Certificate Of Attestation Must Also Be Provided Within Fifteen (15) Days After The Audit, While Waiting For The Official Certificate. Ix. Criteria For Shortlist And Technical Specifications: 1. Service Provider Shall The Following Information And/or Supporting Documents: A. The Certifying Body Must Have The Applicable Experience And Good Track Record With At Least Ten (10) Years Of Auditing Experience And Must Provide The Following: - Company Profile Highlighting A Minimum Twenty (20) Related Government Certification Projects For Quality Management Systems; - Must Have Experience In Certifying Drug And Rehabilitation Facilities In The Philippines Or Related Industries; - Complete And Clear Scope Of Work And Implementation Methodology; And - Curriculum Vitae Of The Proposed Certification Audit Team With At Leas Three (3) Years Of Audit Experience Relevant To The Scope Certification. B. The Certifying Body Must Have International Accreditation For Quality Management System Covering Scope For Management Of Individuals/patients With Drug Dependency.
