Description Provision Of Technical Services In The Implementation Of Various Conservation Activities For Priority Threathened Species – Philippine Cockatoo The Engagement Shall Be For The Provision Of Technical Services In The Conduct Of Comprehensive Population And Habitat Survey Of Philippine Cockatoo And In The Establishment Of Critical Habitat Of Identified Cockatoo Nesting Sites In The Province. Agreement Duration Will Be For Three (3) Months, To Commence Within Seven Days After Receipt Of Notice To Proceed. Activities Involved Are The Following: 1. Conduct Of Comprehensive Habitat Survey And Population Count Of The Five (5) Identified Sites In Palawan (rasa Island, Dumaran Island, Pandanan Island, Bugsok Island And Iwahig Prison And Penal Farm); 2. Collection Of Specimens For Dna Analysis Of Cockatoos; 3. Assist The Denr In The Application Process Of Critical Habitats In Pandanan And Bugsok Island In Balabac And Malabo Forest In Puerto Princesa City; 4. Provide Guidance And Assistance To Denr Field Personnel In The Conduct Of Survey Activities As Deemed Necessary; 5. Consolidate And Synthesize Datasets Based From The Conducted Survey And Other Related Activities; 6. Drafting And Presentation Of Final Report To The Denr-penro; 7. Submission Of Final Report With Comments/recommendation From The Penro.
