Description Project Duration: The Protection And Maintenance Of Established Plantation Year 2 (pmepyr2) – January To December 2025 Scope Of Work 1. Seedling Production/ Procurement (20% Of The Total Seedling Requirement Per Hectare) Plus 10% Mortality Allowance And Construction Of Nursery Using Light Materials 2. Protection And Maintenance Of Established Plantation A. Strip Brushing/cultivation/ringweeding/fertilizer Application, Fireline Construction And Maintenance (if Applicable) B. Setting Up Of Poles/markers/signages Including Fabrication, Hauling And Installation Using Prescribed Format Based On The Technical Specifications Of Poles/markers And/or Signages Under Maintenance And Protection (m&p) Year1-3 Of Enhanced National Greening Program (engp). (see Annex A) C. Patrol Works D. Hauling Of Seedlings E. Replanting/re-staking 3. Planting Materials Should Be In Required Polyethylene Bags With An Average Height Of 40cm And Diameter Of 0.3 Cm And With 4-6 Leaves, Healthy And No Signs Of Diseases. The Stakeholder/partner/implementer Shall Shoulder The Hauling And Transportation Costs Of Seedlings To The Identified Nursery And Planting Site. Local Communities Will Be Tapped As Laborers/partners In The Identified Nursery Activities. Prior To Project Implementation The Stakeholder/partner Implementer Shall Conduct Coordination And Community Assembles In All Barangays Covered By The Project Site And Other Cepa Related Activities That Will Promote The Enhanced National Greening Program.
