The Department Of Communities (communities) Is Providing The Sector With The Opportunity To Review The Provision Of Family Support Network Services Draft Request For Tender Document To Ensure The Intent Of The Request Is Clear And Understood By Potential Respondents. This Draft For Comment Opportunity Does Not Allow For Material Changes To The Request For Tender. Communities Is Seeking Service Providers To Provide Family Support Network Services (fsn) In Each Of Four (4) Communities' Corridors In The Metropolitan Area: Cannington/armadale Fremantle/ Rockingham Mirrabooka/joondalup Perth/midland. Dependent On The Stream Of Services, The Fsn Will Provide: Coordination Support By Linking Families Into Support Services Including The Development Of Their Natural Support Networks And Wider Community And Mainstream Services Links That Encourage And Assist Families To Thrive In Their Communities; Or Case Management Services To Strengthen Family Functioning And Divert Families Away From Child Protection Involvement. The Fsn Works With Aboriginal And Non-aboriginal Families. The Service Environment Will Be Trauma Informed And Recognise The Impact Of Multiple Traumas Including Intergenerational Trauma On The Family And In The Case Of Children Or Young People, Their Development And Behaviours, And The Critical Importance Of Safety And Quality In Relationships. Physical And Psychological Safety, Self-regulation Skills And Strengths-based Development Of The Child Or Young Person Are A Focus Across All Activities. In Line With The Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (acco) Strategy 2022-2032 Applying Service Providers That Are Not Accos Must Develop A Partnership With At Least One Locally Based Acco To Support The Achievement Of The Service Outcomes And Enhance Service Provision For Aboriginal Children And Young People. While There Is No Requirement For Acco Respondents To Partner With Other Accos Or Non-accos, Communities Is Supportive Of Such Partnerships To Achieve The Service Requirements And Outcomes. Therefore, Acco's Are Strongly Encouraged To Comment On This Request For Tender.
