The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one “similar work” of value of ₹629.51 lakh or more - OR - Two “similar works” each of value of ₹393.44 lakh or more - OR - Three “similar works” each of value of ₹314.76 lakh or more. Additionally, for joint ventures (JV)/Consortium, each substantial partner must have experience of executing at least one "similar work" valued at a minimum of ₹314.76 lakhs. Non-substantial partners, having less than 26% participation, must have experience of executing at least one Electrical work of minimum value of ₹157.38 lakhs. The substantial completion of works is considered as 80% (value wise) or more works completed under the contract. The value of successfully completed or substantially completed portion of similar work up to the last day of the month previous to the month of tender submission shall be considered for qualification of work experience. In terms of percentage, no contract of the tenderer of the value more than 10% of NIT cost of work, executed either individually or in a JV/Consortium, should have been rescinded/terminated by DMRC/any other Metro Organization (100% owned by Govt.) after award during last 03 years due to non-performance of the tenderer or any of JV/Consortium members. Also, the tenderer (including any member in case of JV/consortium) for the work awarded by DMRC/any other Metro Organization (100% owned by Govt.) must have been neither penalized with liquidated damages of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to delay nor imposed with penalty of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to any other reason in any Electrical Engineering works of value more than 10% of NIT cost of work, during last three years. The bidder should submit details of works executed by them, along with documentary proof such as completion certificates from clients, for the works to be considered for qualification of work experience criteria. The definition of “similar works” for this contract is “Supply, Installation, Testing and commissioning/ Supply - of Battery Banks”. For a JV/Consortium, the substantial partner should have a minimum of 26% participation, while non-substantial partners should have a minimum of 20% participation. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes executing at least one "similar work" of value of ₹314.76 lakhs or more in the last 05 years. The local content should be equal to or more than 60% for 'Class-I local supplier'.
