The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - At least one “similar work” of value of ₹390.82 lakh or more - OR at least two “similar works” each of value of ₹244.26 lakh or more - OR at least three “similar works” each of value of ₹195.40 lakh or more The “similar works” are defined as “Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of signalling system/sub-system with software in any metro rail network/railways." For joint venture/Consortium, the substantial partner should have experience of executing at least one “similar work” of value of ₹195.40 lakhs or more in the last 05 years. Non-substantial partners should have a minimum of 20% participation and must have experience of executing at least one signalling work of minimum value of ₹97.70 lakhs in the last 05 years. The value of successfully completed or substantially completed portion of similar work (up to 80% or more) will be considered for qualification of work experience. Substantial completion is defined as 80% (value wise) or more works completed under the contract. Each non-substantial partner of a Joint Venture/Consortium must have experience of executing at least one signalling work of minimum value of ₹97.70 lakhs in the last 05 years. However, in the case of a joint venture comprising a parent company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, it is not mandatory for the wholly-owned subsidiary to have experience in executing at least one signalling work valued at a minimum of ₹97.70 lakhs within the last 05 years. Additionally, tenderer for the work awarded must have been neither penalized with liquidated damages of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to delay nor imposed with penalty of 10% (or more) of the contract value due to any other reason in any Signaling Engineering works of value more than 10% of NIT cost of work, during last three years. No contract of the tenderer of the value more than 10% of NIT cost of work should have been rescinded / terminated by DMRC/ any other Metro Organization after award during last 03 years due to non-performance of the tenderer or any of JV/Consortium members. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes engineering works of value more than 10% of the NIT cost of work during the last three years.
