Notice Is Hereby Given By The Cowichan Valley Regional District (cvrd) Of Its Intent To Contract The Provision Of Consulting Services For The Complete Communities Assessment Phase Iii - Act As Follows: Supplier Name: Dialog Bc Architecture Engineering Interior Design (dialog) Description Of Purchase: Complete Communities Assessment For Cvrd Local Area Plans Dialog Provides Continuity Of Vision And Knowledge For The Finalization Of The Local Area Plan Development And Engagement With Communities. • Development Implementation Plan, Monitor And Report Framework • Identify Implementation Actions (prioritize, Tools, Leads And Timelines) • Create Monitoring And Reporting Framework Including Metrics • Engagement With Experts, Indigenous Nations • Plan Diagrams Reflecting Final Decisions On Scenarios • Public Engagement Value Of Award: The Estimated Value Is $110,000 Canadian Dollars, Excluding Taxes. The Decision To Direct Award To Dialog Bc Was Made Based On The Following Considerations: 1. Project Continuity & Consistency: In 2021, Dialog Was Awarded The Contract Of Rfp# R21-36 For The Development Of Local Area Plans And Neighborhood Plans. Since Then, Dialog Has Been Consistently Providing Planning And Supporting Services For The Development Of The Cvrd Official Community Plan. In Addition To This, Dialog Also Served As A Subcontractor On The Rfq 23-28 For The Complete Communities Assessment Phase I - Prepare And Phase Ii – Assess. Continuing With Dialog Provides A Seamless Continuity And Enhanced Efficiency In The Complete Communities Assessment Phase 2 Project. 2. Expertise: Dialog Possesses Specific Expertise And Knowledge Related To Complete Communities’ Assessment For Local Area Plan Development, Including Concept Plan Development.
