It Is The Intention Of This Request To Retain An Engineering Consultant To Complete The Preliminary And Detailed Design, Including Topographic Site Survey, Compiling All Drawings And Documents, Performing Investigations Which The Consultant Deems Necessary, Securing All Necessary Approvals And Permits From External Regulatory Agencies, Stakeholder Consultations, Selection Of The Preferred Alternative, Developing And Administering The Tender Of The Project, Including The Recommendation Of A Preferable Contractor, And The Administration/ Project Management Of The Contract On Behalf Of The County Of Lambton Including Site Inspection Activities To Complete The Planned Replacement Of The Pulse Creek Bridge (county Structure 22-3-066) Which Is Located On County Road 22 (london Line) And Spans Pulse Creek In The City Of Sarnia. The Bridge Replacement Plan Shall Focus Of Selecting A Replacement Structure To Best Suit The Structure's Surroundings, Site Hydrology, Soil Conditions, Roadway Geometrics, Etc. The Replacement Structure Shall Be Designed In Accordance With The Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (chbdc) And Shall Provide A Minimum Service Life Of Seventy-five (75) Years.
