The bid capacity required in the given tender to bid can be calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid capacity = (A x N x 1.5 - B) Where A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the price level of the financial year [2023-2024] at the rate of 5% per year), N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited (period up to 6 months to be taken as half-year and more than 6 months as one year), B = Value, at the current price level, of existing commitments on on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. Additionally, the bid capacity required in the given tender includes: 1. Minimum annual financial turnover: 1.5 times the package value (Rs.463.88 Lakhs). 2. Availability of liquid assets or credit facilities: 50% of the package value (Rs.154.63 Lakhs). 3. Annual financial turnover in at least two of the last five financial years: 1.5 times the package value (Rs.463.88 Lakhs). Other formulas for calculating the required bid capacity are: - 80% of the Package value = Rs. 247.4 Lakhs - 1.5 times of the Package value = Rs.463.88 Lakhs - 50% of the Package Value = Rs.154.63 Lakhs The bidder should also have executed at least one work not less than 80% of the value put in tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding five years. The bidder should also have achieved a value of the project being bided (150% value of the project being bided) calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed in at least any two financial years in the last five years. The bidder should provide evidence of access to, or availability of, liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial resources (independent of any contractual advance payment) that are sufficient to meet the projected construction cash flow requirements, which is 50% of the total value of the project for which the bid is being submitted, after deducting the Bidder's existing commitments.
