The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the formula: Assessed Available Bid capacity = (A x N x 1.5 - B) Where A = Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years (updated to the price level of the financial year [2023-2024] at the rate of 5% per year), N = Number of years prescribed for completion of the works for which bids are invited (period up to 6 months to be taken as half-year and more than 6 months as one year), B = Value, at the current price level, of existing commitments on on-going works to be completed during the period of completion of the works for which bids are invited. Additionally, the available bid capacity should be equal to or more than the total bid value of the work. The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover in civil engineering construction work of 1.5 times the value of the project being bided, which is Rs.373.31 Lakhs in this case. The bidder should also have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities to carry out the construction work, which should not be less than Rs.124.44 Lakhs. The bidder should have executed at least one work not less than 80% of the value put in tender under a single agreement in any one of the preceding five years ending 31.01.2025 in State Government Department/Govt. Undertaking/Local Bodies, which is Rs. 199.10 Lakhs. The bid capacity required includes: - Annual Financial Turnover: Rs.373.32 Lakhs (1.5 times the package value). - Liquid Assets: Rs.124.44 Lakhs (50% of the package value). The bidder should also have a minimum number of equipment as specified. The formulas for bid price calculation are: - The Contract shall be for the whole works based on the priced Bill of Quantities submitted by the Bidder. - All duties, taxes, and other levies payable by the Contractor under the Contract, or for any other cause shall be included in the rates, prices, and total Bid price submitted by the Bidder. - If the contractor offers discount / rebate in a particular item, his bid price will be after deducting the discount from the original quoted price.
