The structure has moderate damage to the existing retaining walls and the sidewalk widths do not correspond to the state of the art. The City of Alsfeld plans to demolish the retaining walls of the culvert structure, extend the existing corrugated steel profile, sloping the existing terrain, building a new retaining wall, installing a new railing and carrying out road construction work. Furthermore, building waterproofing of the existing development in the area of the new reinforced concrete wall is to be carried out in accordance with DIN 18533-1. The following services are currently planned as part of the construction work: Road construction / earthworks / hydraulic engineering Approx. 70 m³ of soil loosening, loading and transporting away 2 excavation pits for the culvert extension (corrugated steel profile) and strip foundations Approx. 30 m³ of frost protection material delivery and installation Approx. 10 m³ of topsoil delivery and covering on embankments etc. in the correct profile Approx. 70 m2 extension of the sidewalk - paving work Approx. 26 m2 delivery and installation of a bituminous base and covering layer Approx. 8 m3 of reinforced concrete incl. Supply and manufacture of formwork for strip foundations.
