Quantities As A Result Of This Bid Award, The City Intends To Make Purchase(s) Of The Following: 60 Sections Of 1 ¾” Hose (each Section To Be 50’ Long) 215 Sections Of 2 ½” Hose (each Section To Be 50’ Long) 6 Sections Of 5” Hose (each Section To Be 100’ Long) 4 Sections Of High Pressure 5” Hose (each Section To Be 100’ Long After The Initial Purchase(s), The Duration Of The Contract Period Any Purchases Will Be Made On An As Needed Basis. There Are No Assurances Of Additional Purchases In The Contract Period. Delivery All Freight Charges Are To Be Included In The Bid Price. Freight Terms Are To Be Fob Destination; Freight Prepaid. Warranty 10-year Warranty To Provide Repair Or Replacement Of Hose Due Defects In Materials Or Workmanship. Lifetime Warranty Against Delamination. Warranties Required In This Solicitation May Be In Addition To Standard Warranty Provisions. Bidders Are Instructed To Provide With The Bid Response A Written Statement That Details All Warranties Terms And Conditions. Invoicing Submit Electronic Invoices To Accountspayable@tuscaloosa.com. City Staff Shall Verify Contract Rates And Items Received On All Invoices Prior To Authorizing Payment Of Invoices. Manufacturing/product Requirements The Hose Must Be Manufactured In The Usa In Accordance With Nfpa 1961, Latest Edition, And Iso-9001, Latest Edition. Each Section Of Hose To Be Professionally Mechanically Stamped Or Laser Engraved On The Metal Couplings At Both Ends, As Per Tfr’s Numbering System, Which Will Be Given To Awarded Vendor At The Time Of Each Order. Pressure Test Certificate Must Be Supplied By Vendor To Tfr At Time Of Delivery.
