The City Of Ottawa (the “city”) Is Requesting Pre-qualification Submissions From Respondents Qualified In The Removal And Disposal Of Oc Transpo Buses, Vehicles, Assets (the “equipment”) For Scrap Metal, By Weight, At Several City Of Ottawa Oc Transpo Sites And On Other City Properties, On An As And When Requested Basis, In Accordance With The Terms, And Conditions Herein. This Request For Pre-qualifications (‘rfpq’) Will Establish An Initial List Of Vendors Eligible To Participate In The Invitation To Quote Process Detailed In Article 1.4. The List Of Eligible Vendors Is Anticipated To Grow Throughout The Term Of The Rfpq. Following The Closing Of This Rfpq It Is The Intent Of The City To Issue A Revised Rfpq Document On Merx That Will Allow Vendors To Be Added To The Eligible Vendors List On An Ongoing Basis Until The End Of The Period Of Pre-qualifications Outlined In Article 1.3. Prospective Vendors Interested In Being Listed As An Authorized Vendor Under This Rfpq After The Initial Solicitation Period Should Contact The Administrative Authority Detailed In Article 1.6.2., And Will Be Required To Demonstrate Eligibility Following The Evaluation And Selection Methodology Pursuant To Section 3.
