Description Item 1 Specification Supply, Installation And Commissioning Of One Set Electromechanical Equipment Except Motor Controller For Ps No. 30 Statement Of Compliance (“comply” Or “not Comply”) A. General 1. Scope A. The Scope Of Work Shall Be To Supply, Install And Commission One Set Of Submersible Pump And Motor Assembly, Column Pipes, Discharge Lines/ Fittings, Submersible Cable, Hypochlorinator And Construction Of Civil Works I.e., Pump Foundation And Pipe Support Except Motor Controller. B. Electrical Components, E.g. Transformers, Demand Meter, Wires And Conduits, From The Power Pole To The Motor Controller Shall Be The Responsibility Of The City Of Koronadal Water District (ckwd) In Coordination With The Local Power Cooperative. 2. Conditions A. The Pump/ Motor And Accessories Shall Be Brand-new, At Most Three Years Ex-stock. B. The Supplier Shall Be Responsible For The Proper Installation Of The Supplied Pump Unit. C. The Supplier Shall Install The Pump Within Forty-five (45) Days After Signing Of Contract/ Purchase Order (po). The 15-day Time Frame Shall Be Allotted In Order To Check The Proper Alignment Of The Pump/ Motor Assembly And Make Necessary Corrections Of Both Mechanical And Electrical Failures Found During Installation And Construction. The Supplier Shall Inform The Ckwd Measures And Proper Procedures On Pump Operation To Guarantee A Smooth And Proper Function Of The Newly-installed Unit. D. Field-testing Shall Be Made Once The Mounted Equipment Is Ready For Operation And When Both The Ckwd And Supplier Have Finished Their Scopes Of Work On The Installed Unit. Ckwd Engineers Shall Conduct Field Testing With The Presence Of Supplier’s Representative. E. In Case The Pump Failed During Field Testing, The Supplier Shall Make Necessary Corrections, Repair Or Replace The Unit Without Cost To The Owner. All Incidental Expenses Including The Pulling Out And Transporting Of The Pump Unit Shall Be Borne By The Supplier. F. The Supplier Shall Provide A Comprehensive Warranty Covering All Parts And Labor For A Minimum Period Of One Year From The Date Of Delivery And Installation Of The Equipment. G. In Case Of Any Malfunction, Defect, Or Failure Of The Equipment During The Warranty Period, The Supplier Shall Offer Repair Services At No Additional Cost To The Buyer. H. The Supplier Must Respond To A Warranty Repair Request Within 24 Hours Of Notification By The Buyer. The Supplier Is Required To Complete The Repair Or Provide A Replacement Within A Maximum Lead Time Of 1 Week From The Time Of Notification. This Includes The Time For Diagnostics, Shipping Of Parts, And On-site Or Off-site Repair As Necessary. I. If The Repair Cannot Be Completed Within The 1-week Lead Time, The Supplier Must Provide A Temporary Replacement Of Equivalent Specifications At No Extra Cost To The Buyer, Until The Original Equipment Is Repaired And Returned To Full Working Condition. J. Failure To Meet The 1-week Lead Time For Repairs Or Replacement May Result In Forfeiture Of The Retention Fee. K. All Equipment/ Materials Must Be Brand New. 3. Location The Pump Shall Be Installed At Ps No.30, Purok Bagong Silang, Brgy. Sta. Cruz, City Of Koronadal. 4. Pump - There Shall Be No Point Within The Operating Range On The Pump Curve Wherein The Required Horsepower Exceeds The Rated Motor Horsepower. In Addition To The Above Requirements, The Design Point Shall Be Located Within The Best Efficiency Range Of The Pump. Efficiency Range Is Within The -5% Of The Pump’s Peak Efficiency. Pump Efficiency Located Outside The -5% Range Of The Peak Efficiency Is Acceptable Provided That The Efficiency Is Higher Than The Required Minimum Pump Efficiency. Pump Element - The Impellers Shall Be Of The Enclosed Or Semi-open Type, Constructed Of Bronze, Cast Iron Or Stainless Steel, Accurately Fitted, Smoothly Finished, And Dynamically Balanced At Normal Pump Speeds. They Shall Have Removable Wearing Rings And Lateral Seal Rings Mounted In Their Companion Cases. The Bowl Cases Shall Be Constructed Of Cast Iron Or Stainless Steel. Pump Bearing Shall Be At Least 2-1/2 Times The Diameter Of The Shaft. The Pump Shaft Shall Be Of 18-8 Stainless Steel. The Pump Shaft Shall Be Of 18-8 Stainless Steel. B. Motor – The Motor Shall Be Of Squirrel Cage, Submersible Induction Type, Rated At 30hp, 230volts, Three Phase, 3400-3600rpm, 60hertz Ac. The Motor Shall Be Designed For Continuous Duty Operation And Shall Have A Minimum Service Factor Of 1.15. The Motor Shall Be Water Filled And Shall Incorporate A Mechanical Seal To Restrict Foreign Matter From Entering The Motor. The Thrust Bearings Shall Be Of Ample Capacity To Carry The Weight Of All Rotating Parts Plus The Hydraulic Thrust And Shall Be An Integral Part Of The Driver. It Shall Be Equipped With Expansion Diaphragm To Compensate For Filling Water Expansion/ Contraction Due To Temperature Changes. The Contractor/supplier Shall Furnish And Install One (1) Hypochlorination System Complete With All Necessary Appurtenances. 2. The Hypochlorinator System Shall Include The Hypochlorite Feed Pump Assembly, Solution Ejector, Anti-siphon Valve, Foot Valve And Strainer Assembly, Hypochlorite Solution Tank, Safety Switch, Piping System And Other Materials To Make A Complete Operating System. 3. The Contractor At No Cost To The Owner Shall Furnish The Services Of A Factory Representative To Supervise Installation And Conduct Field Test Run On The Hypo Chlorinator. 4. Before Acceptance Of The Unit A Test Run Will Be Conducted In The Presence Of Representative/s Of The Water District, And Contractor. In The Event Of Failure Of The Hypo Chlorinator System To Operate To Meet The Specifications And Shall Receive No Additional Compensation Thereof. For Purposes Of Payment The Contract Work Will Not Be Accepted Until The Test Has Been Made To The Satisfaction Of The District. 5. The Contractor Shall Guarantee The Hypo Chlorinator System To Be Free Of Factory Defects For At Least One Year And Shall Issue A Warranty Certificate On This Effect. 6. The Contractor Shall Furnish All Necessary Catalogues With A List Of Spare Parts And Operating Manuals. B. Hypo Chlorinator Feed Pump 1. General – The Pump Shall Be Of Positive Displacement Type With All Parts Constructed Of Materials Non-corrosive To Wet Chlorine Service. 2. Capacity – The Feed Pump Shall Have A Capacity Of At Least 5 Liters Per Hour Of Hypochlorite Solution And Shall Be Equipped With Manually Operated Knob Control Mounted On Top Of The Pump Suitable For The Above Feed Rate. A Feed Indicator Permits Visual Monitor Of Fluid Rate At Any Time. 3. Operation – The Rate Of Hypochlorite Solution Feed Shall Be Set Manually And Shall Remain Constant Until Manually Changed. Adjustment Of Feed Rate Can Be Made While The Unit Is In Operation. The Hypochlorite Feed Pump Shall Be Capable Of Operating The Following Conditions: Solution Feed Rate: 5 Liters Per Hour Pump Discharge Pressure: 0-125 Psi Electric Power Supply: 230 V, 60 Hertz, Single Phase A.c 4. Standard Accessories – The Hypo Chlorinator Shall Be Supplied With Lubricating Oil, Plastic Tubing, Suction And Discharge Tubes With Appropriate Fittings, Anti-siphon Valve, Foot Valve And Strainer, Check Valve And Pipe Fittings For Injection Into The Water Main, Plastic Solution Tank With Cover To Hold 60 Gallons Of Liquid Chlorine Solution And Plastic Measuring Cup. C. Liquid Chlorine The Contractor Shall Also Provide One (1) Drum (200 Liters) Of Sodium Hypochlorite Liquid For The Hypo Chlorinator. D. Chlorine Test Kit 1. The Contractor Shall Provide One (1) Set Of Chlorine Test Kit Complete Color Standards Chemical Solutions In Plastics Bottles With Dropper And Instructions For The Pumping Station. 2. The Test Kit Shall Be Colorimetric Type And The Residual Chlorine Shall Be Determined By A Simple Visual Comparison Between Permanent Color Standards Of Known Value And Sample Color. The Test Kit Shall Have A Range Of 0-5 Mg/l Or Ppm. With Increments Of 0.1 Mg/l Or Ppm. 3. The Test Kit Shall Be Capable Of Analyzing For Total Chlorine Using Orthotolidine Solution Method. One Half (1/2) Liter Of Stock Chemical Shall Be Provided With The Test Kit. 4. All Components Necessary To Carry Out Chlorine Test In The Field Shall Be Provided With A Sturdy Carrying Case. B. Additional Requirements (compliance Upon Submission Of Bid) 1. Must Submit Original Catalog / Brochure. (please Attach And Identify Specific Product Brochure) 2. The Manufacturer Should Have Iso 9001:2015 Certificate. 3. Minimum Manufacturer’s Warranty Of One (1) Year C. Additional Requirements (compliance Upon Delivery) 1. The Supplier’s Technical Representative Shall Be Present During Installation And Commissioning For Final Testing. 2. The Supplier Must Provide One (1) Unit Portable Fire Extinguisher (dry Chemical Type, 10-lbs Capacity) With Receipt.
