The City Of Burnaby (“city”) Is Requesting Proposals From Qualified Proponents To Supply, Implement And Support A Saas-based Recruitment Testing System That Allows The City To Select Specific Tests For Each Candidate. The City Is Interested In Moving Forward With Robust Testing That Meets Today’s Needs And Reflects Today’s Workplace Requirements. The Technology Solution To Support This Should Have Both, Customer-facing And Staff-facing Portals, Provide Robust Reporting Metrics And Ease Of Use On Any Of Client’s Computers. The City’s Preference Is For A Cloud-based Platform Which Respects The British Columbia Freedom Of Information And Protection Of Privacy Act (“foippa”), And Should Adhere To The City’s Security Protocols. Further Details Are Captured In The Requirements Appendices Of This Rfp. The City Intends To Deploy The Solution In A Phased Approach, With Pay-per-use Testing And Moving To Creating Testing Content For City Use. The City Has Long-used Testing Platforms And Is Exploring Best-in-class Services And Fees. With Technology Consistently Changing, It’s Vital That The City Selects A Platform That Can Keep Up With Changes In Software And Technology, While Making Their Product User Friendly For Both, The City And End-users.   The City May Award A Contract For A One (1) Year Term, With Options Of Four (4) Each, One (1) Year Terms For A Total Possible Term Of Five (5) Years At The Sole Discretion Of The City, In Accordance With The Attached Terms, Conditions And Requirements Of This Rfp.
