The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, for subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case of a member in an earlier Joint Venture (JV), the value of a completed work will be reckoned only to the extent of the concerned member's share in that JV. For newly formed partnership firms, the credentials of individual partners from previous proprietary firms or dissolved previous partnership firms or split previous partnership firms shall be considered only to the extent of their share in the previous entity on the date of dissolution/split and their share in the newly formed partnership firm. For example, if a partner A had 30% share in the previous entity and his share in the present partnership firm is 20%, the credentials of partner A will be considered to the extent of 0.3*0.2*value of the work done in the previous entity. The percentages and amounts mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender - 40% of the advertised value of the tender - 60% of the advertised value of the tender - 35% value of the work to be subletted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work - 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work.
