The Project Will Utilise Modern Methods Of Construction (mmc) And Focus On Digital Solutions For Independent Living, With A Particular Emphasis On Addressing The Needs Of Remote And Rural Communities. The Project Aims To Develop And Deliver A 2-bedroom, Innovative, And Connected Home On An Innovation Plot (within Moray) Designed To Be A Sustainable, High-quality Home That Meets People’s Evolving Needs And Aspirations Throughout The Course Of Their/ Their Family’s Life. The Purpose Of This Notice Is To Identify Individual Organisations, Groups Of Organisations Or Consortia Able To Deliver Either One Or Both Of The Undernoted Key Components. It Should Be Noted That Whilst The Outline Below Represents The Current Intended Approach, The Purpose Of This Notice Is To Commence Dialogue With The Market(s) To Gain A Fuller Understanding Of Possibilities And Opportunities. These Technologies Should Be Targeted At Enabling The Monitoring Of Safety, Security, Health And Wellbeing Of The Residents. The Outcome Of The Digital Innovation Element Must Promote Independent Living, Focus On Prevention And Early Intervention To Promote Health And Wellbeing, And Produce A High-quality Scalable Product. Data Generated By Digital Devices (integrated Into The Fabric Of The Build Is Preferred) Will Be Collected And Made Readily Accessible To The Occupier And Their Family/carers As Well As In A Format That Can Be Shared With External Agencies With Appropriate Consents. The use of the planned new building is spread over six full floors above ground and a 7th storey in the north-eastern part of the building. The two basement floors of the new building, which extend almost to the property boundary, serve as an underground car park and building services. In order to access the upper floors from one another and to ensure evacuation, a total of four stairwell cores are planned. A flexible axis grid of 1.35 m was chosen for the administration building. The new building is planned to be constructed using reinforced concrete and is intended to demonstrate innovative approaches to sustainability in terms of building services. The requirements to be met from the guidelines and guidelines of the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) result in special quality demands for the entire building. In Line With Government Plans To Decarbonise Transport And End The Sale Of Petrol And Diesel Cars, Kent County Council Is Preparing The Network For Zero Emission Vehicles And In Doing So Supporting The Ambition To Reach Net Zero By 2050. In March 2022 The Government Published Taking Charge: The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Strategy Which Outlined Their Intention That Local Authorities Should Play A Leading Role In Ensuring Equitable Access To Electric Vehicle Charge Points (evcp) In Their Localities. This Was Followed Up In 2023 When The Government Launched The Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (levi) Fund, Which Was Designed To Help Deliver A Step Change In The Deployment Of Local, Primarily Low Power, On-street Charging Infrastructure To Accelerate The Commercialisation Of, And Investment In, The Local Charging Infrastructure Sector. The Levi Fund Is Administered By The Office Of Zero Emissions Vehicles (ozev), Who Want To See Tier 1 Authorities Enabling Charging For Those In Most Need. In The Current Landscape Of Electric Vehicle (ev) Charging, Ozev Have Made It Clear That The Primary Focus Should Be On Existing Residential Properties Without The Ability To Charge Their Vehicles At Home. The Council Will Work With A Private Sector Charge Point Operator (cpo) To Develop A Reliable And High-quality Public On-street Charge Point Network. This Will Enable Equal Levelling Up Across The County By Providing The Infrastructure Needed For The Residents Of Kent To Make The Switch To Evs, Particularly For Those Without The Ability To Charge At Home. The Individual Contract Will Be A Concession Contract With A Contractual Term Of 20 Years. The Supplier Will Work With The Customer To Plan And Deliver A Network Of Primarily Standard Speed (3.7 Kwh < P < 8 Kwh) Charge Points, With A Significant Focus On 7kw Bollard Chargers.
