However, As The Building Sewer Discharges Organic Matter From Time To Time, The Septic Tank Accumulates Sludge- A Semi-liquid Substance Settled At The Bottom And Scum Making It Necessary For Siphoning. An Accredited Siphoning Company For The Transport, Storage, Treatment And Disposal Of Septage And Fecal Sludge Must Comply With The Relevant Standards Issued By Doh And Denr-emb Specifically On Chapter 17 Of The Sanitation Code Of The Philippines. 2. To Issue Certificate Of Treatment After Job Completion 3.3 Contract The Project Shall Be Completed Within Forty-five (45) Days Upon Receipt Of Notice To Proceed 4. Collection And Transport Technical Requirement 4.1 Manpower Complement- The Contractor Must Have The Following Manpower Support For The Successful Completion Of The Activity: A. Supervisor B. Labor C. Driver 4.2 Equipment- The Contractor Must Have The Following Minimum Equipment For The Completion Of The Activity: A. Enclosed Vehicle With Leak-proof Body And Lock For Temporary Storage Of The Siphoned Sewage, Sludge And Excreta Provided With Proper Label As Mandated Law. B. Leach Proof Container For The Storage Of Solid And Infectious Wastes Collected C. Other Equipment Relevant For The Activity 4.3 Permits- The Contractor Must Have Permit(s) From Concerned Agencies Such As, But Not Limited To Accreditation Permit. 5. Contingency Plan 5.1 In Case Of Leak During The Collection And Transport, The Contractor Shall Promptly Remove Spilled Sewage And Sludge To Prevent Public Health Hazard 5.2 An Emergency Response Plan Shall Be Provided During Collection And Transport.
